Kira Xonorika
(Guarani/Paraguay, 1995)
Kira Xonorika (Guarani/Paraguay, 1995) is an artist, author, and futurist that works with AI, film, robotics, sculpture, and performance. Her work explores the connections between technoscience, non-human intelligence, world-building, sovereignty and ecology. She has received awards, residencies, and grants from the Akademie der Künste, Dreaming Beyond AI, Momus and Eyebeam, Hyundai Artlab and Ars Electronica. Her work has been exhibited in institutions such as the Ford Foundation Gallery, REDCAT, and the arebyte Gallery. Her writing has been published by e-flux, Momus, C Magazine, among others. In 2024, she led the first GenAI artist residency based in South America - the Future Memory Lab, with the support of the Swiss Arts Council. She lives in Tovaangar (Los Angeles, California).
