Roulette

With each edition, the educational program of the Mercosur Biennial expands the possible dialogues between art, education, learning communities, and the most diverse fields of knowledge. At the 14th Biennial, Estalo kicks off a series of public conversations with the seminar “Roulette: a spin of ideas.”

This series of four meetings, held between November 2024 and March 2025, is inspired by the foundational ideas of our pedagogical project, based on the triad “spark - wheel - spin,” proposing reflections on collective practices, the energy/effort that generates movement, as well as struggles, dances, and other cultural manifestations in circular forms. Guests Puma Camillê, Monica Hoff, Anne Magalhães, and Allan da Rosa and Froiid will drive this Roulette, sharing their vibrant artistic and pedagogical journeys, always in dialogue with members of the educational team.

With each spin, we will celebrate the living body that speaks and learns through movement; the logic of play as an artistic and pedagogical strategy; celebration as an act of resistance; and the invisible structures that sustain an educational project.
